Customs at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport have been using United States officials to help check the travel documents of people flying to the US. The Americans are called in if the authenticity of the passport or visa is in doubt.
The collaboration is meant to prevent people being sent back upon arrival in the US, because their documents are not in good order.
The US inspectors say that several people with false travel documents have been detained in the Netherlands since they commenced duties there.

This is weird. I just got a couple of guidebooks on Amsterdam from the library today,I've always wanted to visit that city.
Off topic,I know, but maybe someone up there is trying to tell me to go for it.
Keep that airport good and safe since I'm stuck flying out of Boston's Logan Airport of 9-11 fame.
