Hey, MeekOneGOP--I won't ask to be on this ping list, but I just wanted to say, I had the great good fortune to live in Texas for about six months in my misspent youth, when I was about 21 or so. :)
I've never met friendlier people anywhere. :)
Although my North Carolina boyfriend didn't like the Texas barbecue. ;)

Texas Bar-B-Q is the best. Even my own modest BBQ is good.
At least my wife and SIL tell me so. :^)
