LOU DOBBS TONIGHT Aired September 22, 2004 Three million illegal aliens will enter this country this year. As many as 12 million are already here. So why all the talk of amnesty? We'll have a special report. And an exclusive report on what the governments of the United States and Mexico had hoped would be a secret agreement, an agreement that would encourage millions more illegal aliens to enter this country. REP. DANA ROHRABACHER (R), CA: If we spend more money and we provide more benefits to illegal immigrants, there will be more illegal immigrants. (END VIDEO CLIP) DOBBS: Congressman Dana Rohrabacher says the agreement could bankrupt our Social Security system. Congressman Rohrabacher is my guest. SNIP~ DOBBS: The Center for Immigration Studies today released a scathing report on a controversial agreement between the United States and Mexico. That agreement could allow millions of illegal aliens in this country to receive Social Security benefits. The State Department is working on the final draft of this deal, which has been kept in secret. Critics of the agreement say that it heavily favors Mexican workers and could cost American taxpayers billions of dollars. BILL TUCKER: The United States says Social Security totalization (ph) agreements with 20 countries. They're designed to make sure workers who come here and work get credit for that work back home, so that when they return home, they'll be eligible for their country's pension system. It works for American workers in foreign countries, as well. The pending agreement with Mexico is the exception to those other agreements.

Americans should be calling the White House, their Senators and their Representatives daily and demanding that this legislation be killed.

This current crop of politicians are bound and determined to give our country away to Mexico. Illegal aliens are already getting free medical care, free everything, now they want American social security too? Is this what we have to give up for "cheap lettuce"? I'd rather pay 5 bucks a head, thank you.

I've got to admit that you stay on your agenda quite well, even though it is only a part of the overall mess. I too disagree with the pols on immigration, but I'm not about to vote for becoming a communist nation as Kerry would have us, and his immigration policies are ten times worse than the president's. A vote for anyone but the president is a vote for Kerry and a vote to end our Republic. You're on the wrong side. Deal with it.

There is at least 50% of Bush's base that will vote for him but strongly disagree on doing nothing to stop this invasion from the Southern border. I love my kids, and will stand by them, unless they are doing something that will harm me, them and their kids, and then I'm going to say something. I prefer to leave narrow minded partisanship and one issue voting to the democrats. How about you?

Neither candidate is going to get near this subject, not in this election cycle. I can't say I blame them, but one day it's going to blow up in all our faces.

Can you honestly say you agree with giving illegals Social Security Disability and retirement benefits with only having to work a fraction of what it takes a US citizen to qualify?
