I was at Teresa's townhall health care meeting in Las Cruces, New Mexico today. She got side tracked by a question regarding veterans benefits and went on a tangent about the Iraq war. She dared to insinuate that the draft would be reinstated, what a crock. She also claimed that there were 30,000 latinos serving in the armed forces that were not even U.S. citizens, could this be true? By this time I was about to pass out from the overwhelming stench of liberal bullshit, but I could have sworn she drew paralells between National Guard service and the system of slavery, citing the fact that guard service was an economic necessity since these "people" didn't have anywhere else to go. I would love to see if anyone has a tape of the event so I could clarify my understanding. Lots of press there, anyone have connections?

The ramblings of a demented mind. She was in my state yesterday telling the seniors Bush was gonna take away their SS. Knowing that AZ. is overwhelmingly Bush country she stated we didn't matter.
That number seems awfully, awfully high. Maybe 3000. But what she ignores is that those folks are quickly becoming some of our nation's greatest CITIZENS in addition to some of the greatest heros. Those people are earning their right for Theresa to call them a scumbag, idiot or whatever.

By the way, (putting on Michael Moore hat) John Kerry and TereSa Heinz met about a year before John Heinz died in a plane crash that was caused by a possible problem with the landing gear of the Heinz plane. John Kerry is an expert pilot and worked with the CIA in Vietnam. He likely knew exactly how to damage the landing gear. WHERE WAS JOHN KERRY THE DAY JOHN HEINZ DIED?? (he he)

She had lots tangents, for instance did you know that lead poisoning causes ADHD, which in turn causes people to be imprisoned as criminals? That was one of her theories. What a victim mentality. In the democrat world nothing is ever your fault.

Bush should loudly state at every campaign stop that if Bills HR 163 and S 89 ever reach his desk, he will veto them immediately.
Either the Dems will drop the subject, or they'll have to start defending the idea of reinstating the draft.
All they need do is ask my senator and they'll have the "republican smoking gun" they need to make it stick in the lame stream media. Lincoln Chafee R? RI.
Keep your Michael Moore hat on for a moment and consider that, a few days before he died, Heinz was at a Republican dinner and made fun of something Kerry had said. I can't remember right now what it was, but I'm sure someone will!
The venue was really small, confusing since NM is overwhelmingly democratic, maybe they were afraid they couldn't pull a lot of people on such short notice, so there were only about 250 people there. I was a mole for my agricultural organization.
The latest Dem plan (though transparent):
Scare people into thinking that the draft is coming back (due to BUSH, of course...), and get your operatives in the Legislature to MAKE the draft come back--thus, a self-fulfilling prophecy, of sorts.
