Update to all. My dad passed away an hour ago. He's with Jesus now.
He's with his sister, his mom, his dad and probably eating pancakes!
God Speed Daddy....I love you.
Tammy

Tammy, I'm so sorry about your Dad. He was so lucky to have you in his life, especially during these last days. Thank you for sharing him with us.
I'm so sorry. Please know that you and your family will remain in my prayers.
Your Dad is at peace.
Prayers of comfort for you and your family,
I am thrilled he got to vote. You are a great daughter for making sure that happened.
May God's peace and love be with all of you.
May our Lord comfort you in your time of loss. His vote is equal to any other in theory, but somehow, it seems like it carries more weight than others.
I just saw this post.... Tears for your loss. Hang in there, sweetie. And know that your friends are praying for you.
Texasflower, let me just say that this has been one of, if not THE MOST MOVING story on FreeRepublic since I became a member in 2000.My prayers, and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. I am so glad that Jesus was your dad's Savior and Lord, and that he is in the very presence of God now! I am in tears as I type this. I will be 63 in a week. I would have to agree that it would have been my passion to vote too.....what newspaper was this article in? I will save the photos and send them on to my lists in hopes of encouraging others to vote!!
