To get back on their game, the Bush/Cheney campaign is going to its bread at butter--humorously teasing John Kerry by mocking his personality and attacking his consistency--with a new ad, reports Karen Travers of ABC News.
The spot is called 'Windsurfing.'
The ad, which will join the Bush/Cheney 2004 ad rotation on national cable and local markets in battle ground states, looks at John Kerry's record on a varity of issues and concludes with this zinger: 'John Kerry, whichever way the wind blows.'
Its safe to assume television will be greeted with images of the Democratic nominee in spandex, a campaign offical said, and the ad will feature Strauss' 'Blue Danube Waltz' as background music.
Senator Kerry's late August windsurfing excursion has given the VP and Lynne Cheney a new favorite joke on the campaign trail.
The two banter like Nick and Jessica on their variety show, with the Vice President joking that Lynne thinks John Kerry should stick to windsurfing instead of policy.

I am glad I live in a battleground state, please pass the popcorn!
I love it but would rather hear them playing either "Wipeout" or "Swampsurfer" in the background...hang ten dude..but dont hang chad
I like it.
No I don't.
Yes I do...
When a candidate becomes a joke, he's gonna lose big time.
Remember Dukakis in the tank with a "What, me worry?" look about him.
So far, the only jokes about Bush have been his mangling of the language--but he's managed to defuse that by turning it into an endearing and humorous self-criticism.
The polls will tighten, but I still see W winning by 6 to 10 points on 11/2.
The use of the Blue Danube is terrific.
You couldn't buy what Kerry gave us for free-his flip flops and his windsurfing.
The easiest gig today has to be writing the ad copy for Republican ads.
There is a great clip of Kerry getting takled quarterbacking a football team on the Daily Recycler..
I wish they had shown Kerry falling off at the end.
Where did you hear this?
Then it's up to us members of the Pajamahadeen to keep the pressure on, isn't it?
JIMROB AKHBAR!
I was being facetious.
