This "joel" is someone that is buying into a mental ward hypothesis that Putin and a somehow resurrected KGB are manipulating events to make it look like Islamists are waging war on western civilization, when really, it's just unreconstructed soviet agents.
If I am timorous enough to point out that this hypothesis is sheer lunacy, I am called a Nazi. The original poster of this thread ought to be booted off the board, and that isn't a position I take casually or often. But this guy will give Free Republic a bad name.
