Forged documents appear that reflect the Dems' claims on Bush's NG service. They supposedly come from a dead man's private files, so in theory it would be very difficult to disprove them.
They actually come from a Democrat activist, after he consulted with two of Kerry's advisors, and were leaked through the most leftwing major media source - Dan Rather, who almost certainly knew the documents were fakes.
The most obvious answer then is that The Dems had a hand in these forgeries and they worked with Rather to use them to try and take down Bush and I see no reason to dispute this.
Like John Gibson just said on FoxNews...."IT'S THE FORGERY, STUPID!!!"

Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk, but Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now, think about that. That does not make sense! Why would a Wookiee—an eight foot tall Wookiee—want to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense!"
"But more important, you have to ask yourself, what does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense!"
