Remember the CNN/CBS attempts to derail voting in the Florida panhandle in 2000? The cries of Election Fraud & Disenfranchisement? Lost Ballot Boxes & Uncounted Military Votes?
We know that the left has never let go of the big lie that GW "stole" the election, and we can easily anticipate that on Election Day 2004 the dirty tricks will come fast and furiously from the kool-aid krowd.
It's time to unleash the power of the Vast Right Wing Pajama Party to counter what's to come on Election Day 2004. Let's organize now, and not let them operate behind the cover of the MSM. Ya did it with Rathergate - let's do it again!
My suggestions:
1) FR to establish a single thread (or group of threads?) for reporting & viewing.
2) A group of Observers made up of established FReepers (would be nice to prevent Trolls/DUers if possible)
3) Each Observer has a laptop computer with an Internet connection
4) Digital camera, cell phone, portable TV as possible accessories
5) Observer locates at the legal proximity to his/her local polling location, or
6) Perhaps at the local government vote counting locations (usually County Recorder or Secretary of State)
7) Periodically posts observations, especially unusual or suspect behavior
8) Some voter exit polling & commentary might be interesting
9) Posting to the thread is limited to Observers only. All others can read & monitor the thread(s).
10) Posting should occur when the local polling opens, continue during the day, and taper off/end when the local voting ends.
11) I suppose that you should be wearing your pajamas, might be kinda' cute...
You might be better off telling people what they should be on the lookout for, observe at their precincts and then report back when they get home.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . "Let's be careful out there!"
