Thanks for posting this. My son is a Ft. Polk soldier--A Co./1-509th IN (Airborne). He deployed to Iraq about three months ago, but is now home in Tennessee on a 2 week furlough.

Plans continue for an unprecedented home front celebration now set for Saturday, September 25, 2004 in downtown historic Leesville. -  Joint Readiness Training Center / Fort Polk
 
We want to say thanks to our men and women in uniform...The event is free and open to the public, and military families eat one meal absolutely free.
