Last night we noticed our neighbors across the street putting up Christmas lights. This drew our attention and then we saw the big sign on their garage:
Welcome home Chris. We're all so proud of you and what you have done. There is no way to thank you enough, but all we can do is say it anyway. Thank you.
Chris, welcome home! Thank you for your service to our country. I wish I lived close enough to shake your hand.
Welcome Home!
Thank you for all you have sacrificed.
God bless you and all those serving our nation overseas!!!
From a Vet
Welcome home, Chris, I'm deeply grateful for your service.
This grandmother thanks you, Chris. I pray you are strong and well. God Bless you, and your family.
Thank you for your service to our country. Words can never express the gratitude we feel for your duty and sacrifice. Because of you and your fellow soldiers, we go to sleep at night confident of your protection.
Don't ever believe what you may hear from our wonderful, "unbiased" media. People here at home know what wonderful things you have done, and what many continue to do, in winning the war against terrorism, day by day.
We know that you have done this not just for us, but for our children and grandchildren, and so that we won't have a Beslan here at home.
God Bless you, soldier.
"We're all so proud of you and what you have done. There is no way to thank you enough"
One last bump for the night---so very true. You're right, there is no way to thank our vets adequately.
Dear Chris -
From me and my entire family to you and your entire family, thank you for your service. Thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts.
Glad that you are home safe!
God bless you and your family.
Thank you for your service. I hope you got a few bad guys but I know whatever your job was it helped the cause of freedom and safety. Thank you again for putting your life on the line for me and the rest of America. I never cease to be amazed at the bravery and courage of our American Soldiers. God bless you and all those still there.
Thank you all and keep those messages coming.
Today I had a chance to go over and say hello. I told them about the forum and said I would print out these messages in the next day or so. I said told them there are many from all across the country who had wanted to say "Welcome Home" and "Thank you!". The father gestured toward the sign on the garage that they had hung last night and said this morning some people had stopped to sign their Welcome Home Sign. Tonight we signed it, too. I took a picture (nighttime so not great quality) and if I can figure out how to post it I'll do that.
God bless your son and please send my heartfelt thanks to him.
Let us know when you see him! Thanks to your son.
WELCOME HOME!
Thank you Chris for your service - you matter to us and we are grateful beyond words.
My son came home from Iraq (101st AB) last winter...I know what a wonderful turmoil you're in the middle of right now!
Enjoy every moment, every cheeseburger, every shower!!!
God Bless!
Dude, I salute your service to my family. We thank you!
Thanks you. Words cannot truly express the debt we owe our soldiers. Just know we appreciate your sacrifice and the sacrifice of your family as well. Welcome home!
America thanks you for your service. Welcome home!!
Welcome home Chris and thanks for all you've done!
God bless you!
Thank You!
