Ripa suggested actor Tom Cruise play Kerry running mate John Edwards if a movie were made of the 2004 campaign.Tom Cruise doesn't need to "play" a loser, it won't help his career.

The obvious retort is to say that the next time Kerry changes his position on Iraq, someone should ask: "Is that your FINAL answer??"

Kerry prefers 50/50 or ask the audience.
Lifelines usually are experts or good friends, neither of which Kerry has.
To: Rutles4Ever
He told Philbin and Ripa that a woman in New York gave him $385 that her 8-year-old son had raised selling homemade campaign buttons That's $200 more than Kerry donated to charity for several years during the '90s.
Can't say the guy doesn't have chutzpah. Although maybe he knows that the MSM is always willing to carry water for him.

No, it goes like this:
Horse walks into a bar, the bartender says, "What'll it be, Mac?"
John Kerry walks into the bar, and the bartender says, "Why the long face?"

If there were a movie about the 2004 campaign, who would play John Edwards?

And please keep bumping this until it gets to the White House.

I love it! Doing it for the children! What a bafoon! When this is all over, he'll be lucky to even get his seat in the Senate back.

Alec Baldwin can play Kerry. He doesn't know his career is in the toilet either.

How in hell is this a news story, AP? Because it's only the 4th time Kerry has taken questions from any media member since August 2.
And that's counting Jon Stewart, Don Imus, David Letterman and Regis Philbin as "media members".
