Thanks for the posts, both of you. I think it's very telling how the administration seems to be sitting back and issuing reserved comments over the whole event while the media seems to be driving as compelled by bloggers.
It's the old "Don't interupt the enemy while he's making a mistake" routine. Must be pretty bad, even CNN came out and impaled the rats this morning.

I don't remember who it was and really does not matter but CNN even as of last night had a guest that was allowed to continue with the argument that the real story here is that although the memos are fake no one has been able to impeach the content. The CNN host (the weasel with the glasses) just nodded his head in agreement.

This has been Bush's modus operandi for years, and it has driving some of us "red meat" conservatives crazy, but it is deadly effective: take the high road, bless your enemies, say little about the mud (whether Swiftboats or Memogate), and let the pajamahadeen carry the water.
I think when we finally get a true inside history of this White House, we are going to find some brilliant strategerists at work.
