A leading ruling Uri Party member says South Korea would be better off if Democrat John Kerry is the next U.S. president insofar as dealing with volatile Korean Peninsula issues is concerned.
In an interview with The Korea Herald, the National Assembly's Defense Committee Chairman Yoo Jay-kun was extremely candid in discussing his views on U.S. policy, an upcoming parliamentary vote on extending the South Korean troop presence in Iraq, and other pending issues.
