Tony Coelho admitted on Hardball tonight that the DNC had the memos before CBS but that they didn't use them because they realized that the documents were probably fake.
'He did not come to us, we went to him and asked for the documents.'
Who told CBS/DNC that Burkett had the documents?
I TiVo'ed and watched it again, Surreal.

We need some mood music. Can anyone hum the theme to "Titanic"?

Sounds like a ruse to throw the investigation off the trail, the trail to the DNC. Not buying this crap, the TANG issue was dead. And all of a sudden the Fortunate Son campaign starts right with the CBS piece. The DNC stinks to high heaven. The RATS are talking, we just need to sort through the pile BS their dropping.

Stupid move on the DNC's part then. They should have waived CBS off. Surely they didn't think the memos would fly in the end.

DNC had the memos before CBS but that they didn't use them because they realized that the documents were probably fake.In they thought they were fake, why did they run the ad series featuring the memos?
To: gopwinsin04
So the Kerry campaign was in possession of forged federal documents but did not report them? Hmmmmmm.
