I knew in 1968 that "Uncle Walter" was a communist.
I saw through Walter back then too, SEAL. Also his pal Eric The Red Sevareid. For that matter, Edward R. Murrow was a flaming leftist himself. The whole history of CBS News is filled with Commie sympathizers.
I could not believe the reports coming out of Vietnam on CBS -- my Dad was always mad at Cronkite. Always had the feeling that Cronkite was on the side of the North Vietnamese and always thought our soldiers were the bad guys. Now I think that is exactly what was going on. My Dad and I used to sit in the living room and get mad at CBS News and their specials. :)
