Yes,it is and he claimed that WE are all "MEN"! LOL
Agreed.
I want Blood
" Did you hear Tony Blakley's remark about this already being to the Haldeman stage? "
I bet Washington criminal attorneys with visions of all the DNC/ Kerry campaign billable hours swirling in their heads, are telling their wives tonight, to go ahead with the kitchen remodel.
And they will be in their offices at 6 am tomorrow, awaiting their potential client's calls.
Great analogy by Pat. "If you're gonna take down a king, you gotta kill im. Going up there with forged documents is suicide." I'm paraphrasing.
When you strike at a king, you must kill him.
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882)
I can't believe the speed at which the story has developed from the CBS statement on the authenticity of the memo to several hours later focusing on ties between Lockhart/CBS/Burkett/Cleland.
Rathergate as it is now known, is gaining in strength faster than the Swifties' exposing of sKerry's fraudulent Vietnam experience. Before it's all over this story is gonna be HUGE...
CNN really, really, really sucks.
bump
"USA TODAY to report that Burkett would only talk to CBS if it arranged a meeting with the DNC!!"
And why? I don't know what thread it is on, but someone posted 6 or 7 links to a Yahoo group, and there, in one of the messages, he stated that he wanted a position in the new Kerry administration. He was putting himself forward for Political Patronage.
Ashcroft going after this would be overkill right now...perhaps the Texas State AG would be more fittin'...
Send in the Rangers to seize all computers and "Selectrics" that might be layin' about...har har har!!!
Maybe along with this, the damage done by Abu Ghraib will be discredited -- if the source is dirty. (Mary Mapes, etc.)
Your words are perfect!
Dan Rather has blathered on about the "preponderence" of the "evidence". That seems to mean "a whole big old boondoggle of manufactured proof". Is that about it?
bIGGEST LIES RECAP!
This should be the lead story for the NYTimes, LATimes, Boston Globe, WashPost, et. al....and we'll see it right there on the front page in an alternative universe.
What a putz. The "charges" about Bush's service have been debunked several times if anyone in the press cares to be objective enough to look.
Could we ask for too much?
If a few real journalists start questioning the issue of liberal bias, perhaps some corporate bigwigs could start putting some pressure on their news organizations to go the way of Fox News...REALLY fair and balanced.
The door is open...let's keep it that way.
Oh, to dream...
This is cool.
WOW thats going to hurt in the morning! Better put some ice on that!
