"The 48 continguous states boiled for a couple of days after listening to Rather blather with no one at the controls, until a brave FReeper jumped aboard and brought things to a safe stop. So, how did the deceipt get started in the first place? Turns out the news anchor went to check 3 sources as he got started, but one of them turned out to be a liar and so it was Woo Woo and goodbye Rather."

What is with all that whistling? He sounds like a tweety bird.
I've never paid much attention to him. Does he always have that whistle when he uses an "s"?

LOL. Laura Ingraham calls him The Whistler. She also does a pretty mean impression of his whistling speech.

BTW, Rather says Burkett was in the "Air" Guard -- wasn't he actually in the Army National Guard? More of CBS top-notch fact-checking, I guess.

Does he always have that whistle when he uses an "s"? Only when he's lying.
To: Sloth
I particularly enjoyed Rather's, "Woo-Hoo" at the end. If you listen closely, you can hear one of the folks off camera chuckling.
