We know that George Bush was a fortunate son, a child of privilege

Even McAuliffe uses the old, 2000 "Fortunate Son" line. I think they might have invested a lot of money in "Fortunate Son" related ads.

They would have backfired anyway, so maybe the DNC got a break. "Fortunate Son" doesn't compare so bad to "Fortunate Husband"
