PITTSBURGH (AP) -- What do soccer star Mia Hamm, football great Terry Bradshaw and actors William Shatner and Lindsay Lohan have in common?
Ketchup, of course.
The four have signed on with Heinz to "Say Something Ketchuppy" on limited edition bottles of the condiment. The bottles, which are in stores now, will feature labels with quotes from each celebrity.

the "has-been" series?
How much goes to these celebs favorite political party?

They should put Teresa Heinz on one. The ketchupy quote could be:
"You're all a bunch of idiots and scumbags. I don't care if you are naked. Get back to work in the Ketchup fields."
Shatner: "My career is dead Jim."
"Has-been"? I still watch old Star Treks.
do you realize that they are 30 years old? Yes, I like them too, but hey! Sir William can't even hold a job as priceline spokesman nowadays...
Gee, I guess Ter-azzz-aaa is a day late, I already have my case of W ketchup, and I have passed out some to my friends.
Barbra Streisand: I'm a raving nutter.
Alec Baldwin: Me too. Just like Mama T.
Me too. I just received my 4 bottles of W Ketchup today!!!
While Shatner is arguably washed up there are millions of trekkies who will buy a bottle just to have kirks photo on it. (and then sell it for a ton on eBay)
sw
oh i dunno. it still sounds like a risky venture to me. I just don't think that there are all that many folks ready to plunk down cold, hard cash for a Captain Kirk ketchup bottle. granted that there ARE those who would, I juyst don't think it's all that much, relatively speaking.
they'd sell more by making a "W" bottle;-)
mea culpa. :(
FUNNY. "SPOCK" Nemoy is or was a "has-been" until Priceline. Shatner is not "has-been" if he is doing Priceline commercials. I do not know how much he gets per commercial, but it used to be $162 for each station airing the commercial per time ran. On a national basis, I'll take that and call me "has been", please!
Shatner is starring in one of the more highly touted ABC series this fall, "Boston Legal," a "dramedy," from the creator of "Ally McBeal." I don't think you can call a guy starring in his third network TV show a "has been."
That being said, the guy is definitely a buck-chaser, between the "priceline" ads, bad CDs,etc.
