What really worries me is that the Looney Left crowd may be just insane enough to try to assassinate President Bush. Remember groups like Earth First! and the Animal Liberation Front? What will happen if members of this group insanely decide to take out the President when they realize Senator Kerry will not win the election on 2 November 2004?

Given the two attempts on President Ford in the middle 1970's and the unsuccessful assassination attempt on President Reagan in 1981, not to mention the potential al-Qaeda terrorist threat since 11 September 2001, I think President Bush will always have very tight security around him to prevent such an unfortunate tragedy.
