A worried Matt Drudge reported on his radio show tonight that the Secret Service is on the trail of several people intent on assassinating President Bush.
Drudge said the news story is not his, but that "those in the know" know what he's talking about.
He said more will be reported in the coming days.
Drudge pleaded with his fellow Americans to let the political process play out and to not descend to killing presidential candidates.
One likely scenario is an Islamist agent making such a hit look like an American leftist's work. Sew chaos. That would be the goal of any remaining Evil Axis agents. Getting us to hate each other is their job #1. So far it's working, unfortunately.

If Bush is meant to be President of the U.S.A., than no matter what people might try to do or say; His vertical speech with the Almighty will keep Him from harms way.Besides In my Humble Opinion, I believe He is the man of the hour to run this country. The thing that worries me is that this may be the last godly president and upright man of Integrity this nation will see. The tide will turn after this man is gone. It will be scary. God bless Pres. That was my first thought upon reading the first post. The hatred in this country by the left is so visceral, so deep, so irrational, I do not doubt there are citizens in this country who are crazy enough to attempt such a thing.
I hold the liberal left responsible for this as they started the ball rolling after the election.
Al Gore refused to concede an election he knew he lost. By doing so, this country was thrown into a Constitutional Crisis manufactured by the left's refusal to accept they lost the election.
Tom Daschle broke the rule "Politics end where the water begins."

During a war, Dixie Chicks, Danny Glover et all criticize our President on foreign soil.
Ted Kennedy accuses George Bush of manufacturing this war in Texas for the sole purpose of Political gain. "Lie after lie after lie."
Howard Dean, Cynthia McKinney and others accuse the president of complicity in 9/11. This accusation is met with silence by the leaders of the Democratic Party.
Michael Moore is embraced by the left.
I could go on & on & on. These are just a few examples of how that hatred has been kept alive since President Bush took office. Fodder for fools and crazies and the zealots on the left.
The man in the suit, right behind him, looks kinda like Secret Service.
Every one of them I've ever seen looked like they could crack walnuts with their pinkie fingers.
