I have seen some preview spots on this show. It should be good. They supposedly speak of the connection between the UN Oil For Food scandal and the possible funding of terrorism.
BTTT!!!!!!!!

I have seen nothing to indicate that Shays is to be trusted.
Thanks for refreshing my memory. I knew that scum bag Arnett did something loathsome and anti-American. Just couldn't remember the details.
A fish rots from the head down.
Kofi Annan: The man who stood by while slaughter occurred in Srebrenica, Rwanda, and the Sudan. And now calls the Iraq invasion 'illegal!'
!!!!!!!!!
NEW YORK It began as a U.N. humanitarian aid program called "Oil-for-Food," but it ended up with Saddam Hussein (search) pocketing billions to become the biggest graft-generating machine ever and enriching some of America's most forceful opponents at the United Nations (search).
Plus, some evidence suggests that some of the money ended up in the hands of potential terrorists who are opposed to the United States.
Thanks for the link.
excellent point

"Can we trust this? I mean, it's not quite the same caliber as a 60 Minutes investigation."
Hmmm, guess this report needs some real, honest-to-goodness Blather! (Blather would probably find some "documents" to show that it is all Bush's fault).
"...straight or on the rocks..."
Only Americans ice their drinks. And an American connoisseur would not use ice with a really fine whiskey.
France?
It was a very good report on the connections between the UN, Saddam, France, Germany, Russia and people/groups that supported/funded Islamofascist terrorist groups.
Abolish the UN ~ Now!
The whole UN is rotten & corrupt and the USA should NOT be a part of it! I want the US OUT of the UN and the UN OUT of the US!
I saw it the first time and we TiVo'd it.:)
You forgot to mention Clinton. Did you notice how everything they reported seemed to stop in 2001?
FF bump
"Where was Dan Rather"?
And his producer. 5 years on a story that went nowhere? Absolutely pitiful.
Rather and Mapes set out to tear down our President, frankly, because they don't like him.
Meanwhile, a real story like Oil for Food, well, that's one story Dan won't be breaking, isn't it.
And also quite frankly, I don't think the two Republicans who are investigating this would have given CBS the time of day if they asked for it. Why they hell should they?
So that CBS could put a liberal spin on it?
