I agree totally on everyone's comments about kerry. I was draft age in 1972 and kerry's comments did sway my thinking. Being from a military family I wanted to join the air force but my eye sight wasn't good enough. In 1977 I joined the Army and spent 6 years active and 17 years with the Oklahoma National Guard much time spent with viet. vets.
Best group of guys anyone could serve with.
My thoughts on the swift vets ads. Could they also attack some of the main stream media from the 1970's(and now) also? From my memory they had more negative press on the war that influenced our parents and grandparents view on the war possibly even more then kerry's comments.
I know that there is only a couple of months to stop kerry and all efforts must go in that direction however maybe efforts to undercover the communist leanings of our media might do some good too.
