Yes, Rodney King fought the police. But it is generally agreed that that the beating continued long after King had stopped fighting. In addition stun guns and tazers were available...angel dust means nothing if your muscles stop working while you urinate on yourself while quivering on the ground.

I'm not defending King, he's nothing but a low life.

I'm not defending the rioters who simply wanted an excuse to burn and loot.
