They just talked about it on FNC. It seems a Fox reporter tracked Rather down at D/FW international airport. He had just arrived and was heading to his limo.
Supposedly the Fox reporter asked him how it felt to be duped.
ALSO- I am wondering what Rather is doing here. Is he in Texas to interview Burkett? Was the interview with the 80+ year old, "I'm a yellow dog democrat" lady not shameless enough?

I know Dan Rather lives here in Austin part of the time. He and Ron Franklin (sportscaster) are neighbors. Don't know why he is in Dallas.

I think you're right. Yesterday a FReeper was on Dan's plane to Dallas. The Pajama People were opining that someone should meet him with a camera and do an ambush interview.
Dan can rub, but he can't hide from the Pajama People.
If he were in Dallas today, it would be difficult (but not impossible) to get Monday's planning and shows done in NYC on Monday. This could be his last gasp (grasp at reality?) on live TV.

What a jerk. I wish the guy had asked him what he thinks about Fox beating the pants off of him in the ratings.

I saw it and it was totally lame. The reporter had no idea what the story was, asking only if Dan was duped. Fine, if the reporter doesn't know anything, at least his producer could have come up with a list of questions to pepper Dan with on the way to the car. No time for that? Go over the list with the reporter on his cell phone on the way to the airport! But no...nothing...a totally wasted opportunity. Lamestream media at it's finest.

Dog-gone it. I should have hit my ping list on the prior thread. Maybe Freeper folks would have shown up with the FOX News entourage. I figured it was too late by the time I found out. But I should not do that. This was a case where ping now, ask questions later would have fit. Lesson learned I hope.
Getting this on tape would be the icing on the cake. And yet, I don't think we're done yet.
