Cops! On the rare occasion they should shoot a dog, they don't.

Do an internet seach on "sjambok". They're like a semi flexible rubber baton. I got one because a male dog in my complex got loose and attacked my own male dog (who was on a leash). These things can kill snakes and give an attacking dog second thoughts......
I know, I know about pistols and am licensed to carry. However, I live in the city and civilians aren't supposed to fire them within the city limits.

Another case of Armed Citizens would have not suffered so much.
The dog owner should be convicted of assault with a deadly weapon.
