John Kerry will sell us all out...He is already putting a price on our childrens heads..
No, there's plenty in Paris. Fools.
"If Kerry is elected, we wouldn't send troops either," the unnamed official told the New York Daily News. "We don't need any more targets in Iraq."
Kerry would more than likely order some French tanks though:
Q: How many gears does a French tank have?
A: 4 reverse and 1 forward, in case the enemy attacks from the rear.
Newsmax drives me nuts. They make you aware of such great stories, but they NEVER EVER EVER link to their source! Why the hell isn't there at least a link to the Daily News article they mention?!
Qwinn
I wonder if France realizes that they could be invaded tomorrow and we would no longer help them?
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The only people who believe that Kerry is going to be able to get troops from countries who haven't already sent troops are the intellectually dishonest morons on DU - and even many of them don't believe it and think he is just "talking a good game." In any case, Kerry is either being deceptive on this matter or is completey out of tune with the situation. Personally, I think its both.
I actually think Kerry would be a reasonbly good president if we wanted to surrender.
Since 1940, France hasn't seen fit the send troop to fight anyone other than GreenPeace...
I stand corrected -- they sent troops to Viet Nam for a bit back in the 50s -- only to have their yellow arses handed back to them on a silver platter (sans garnish)
This takes 50% of sKerry's allies out of the picture. The poodle said he would get more "allies" to help. He means France and Germany, he is wrong and France knows it.
So the French want GW to carry the load and they are undercutting sKerry.
Cool...

I'm glad the Cheese-eating surrender monkeys are back. I've missed the levity on the threads..
I love the mooooooon.
As if this was news to anyone who had been paying attention.
If they have sense, they want G.W. to win.
They may dream of the day when they are more powerful than the United States, but the cowards know terrorism is real. They refuse to surrender anything of value (blood & money) to save their country. If they don't defend against terrorism, who will? A Kerry Administration isn't going to do it.
The reality is that France and Germany do want G.W. to win, they just don't want that support and reasons why to be circulated to their populations.
Kerry does have foreign support but I'd say it is clustered in Iran, North Korea, Syria and Cuba to name a few.
I said this on a mirror posting of this thread, but I think it bears repeating here.
If Kerry gets elected, he'll go in with the exit strategy that he'll magically whip up support from foreign nations that will take over for him. obviously, we know that's not what's going to happen.
What will happen is that Kerry won't have a back-up exit strategy. As a matter of fact, he won't have a strategy whatsoever. As a result, the "second Vietnam" liberals claim that we are in now will be actualized, and Kerry will be left sitting there without a plausible way to withdraw. As the situation advances, and concerns at home regarding troop shortages increase, the Democrats might institute a draft. Democrats don't have the sense to realize that drafted troops are not nearly the same quality as voluntary troops.
Point made simple? If Iraq is to be preserved and our troops are to be properly supported, and if we don't want to see a draft in our future to support a war that Kerry neither knows how to fight nor withdraw from, then we'd better ramp up support for Bush and pray to God Kerry doesn't even get close to the Oval Office.
No potage for you !
But...Kerry promised a REAL coalition, not that phony one Bush came up with...the one with all those dirty Brits, Italians, Polish and Japanese...
