Burkett himself refused to talk to reporters camped outside his house last week, although he did tell a journalist that since he began speaking out, unnamed assailants had killed his dog and threatened to rape his wife.

As far as I am concerned , Dan Rather IS the source. Dan Rather is the one that tried to pass off forged documents to me and others. If I try to pass a forged $100 dollar bill, then refuse to say where I got it from, I would be in serious legal trouble.

You are truly deluded if you think the rules which justly and fairly apply to you would justly and fairly be applied to such people as Dan Rather, or for that matter, John Kerry. These latter are members of America's "Do you know WHO I AM?" class. We don't have an aristocracy, but we have people whom you had better correctly recognize and act accordingly.

I just wonder why some feel the need to beat it to death we all know the kool-aid drinkers will keep acting like it's just a controversy and not a done deal... When you see 1000+ posts all talking about the same thing; Dan Blather and the CBS fraud and MSM leftist bias gee is that news to anyone here?

By the way I may be newly registered here at FR but I am by no means a newbie to this sort of thing. I have spent years on the internet on hard right boards and others debating these things. We all know the demonazis are just getting started. In my view the quicker we debunk their BS and move on the better rather then dwelling on it for days and weeks.

Possible seebs "insiders" seeing their careers/stocks go down the toilet killed his dog and threatened his wife if he opened his mouth. Or maybe he killed his own dog and threatened his own wife if she opened her mouth. Previously it would have been hard to believe any media would even report such nonsense but now we know the media as never before.
