Three-yera-old Sophia Parlock cries while seated on the shoulders of her father, Phil Parlock, after having their Bush-Cheney sign torn up by Kerry/Edwards supporters on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004 at the Tri-State Airport in Huntington, W. Va. Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards made a brief stop at the airport as he concluded his two-day bus tour to locations in West Virginia and Ohio.

I wonder If Kerry will apologize for this outrage.
The IPUAT president issued an empty apology, and President Bush is sending the girl a note with autographed copies of his photo and a campaign sign.
"Haven't been around?" Puhleeze...
Just letting this make the rounds some more. Some may have missed it.
IPUAT president apologizes? More needs to be done than that.
Excellent move on Bush's part -- easy to upstage the trashy, classless left with even the slightest bit of class.
This is truly sick. They remind me of the nazis and their book-burning. What's next, Bush/Cheney supporters being put into the warsaw ghetto?
I demand to know more about the 3 year olds connection to this!!! Has she cried before? Is she a Republican? Has she been involved in other incidents of this kind?
Bush's actions also bumps it up in the media some more.:-)
Any placing, or replacing of this on all available web sites will hopefully keep it bumped up, too.
With apologies to rank and file union supporters of the GOP.
Does anyone have the union thug's name yet?
One other observation. The thugs need to be confronted. But for heaven's sake, don't bring your three year old to the party.
I Thought So!!!!
LOL
Please pull something from my kids hands !!
Oh ya goota hand it to those gutsy union thugs...they can beat up a liitle girls sign. Kinda reminds you when the union thugs (pardon the repitition) beat up women to show their support of clinton.
The timing is suspicious, and it's all Bush's fault - if he wasn't running for re-election, that poor little girl never would have been there holding that sign. /sarcasm
Laissez-faire dupe checker? ;-)
bump
No no woofie... you are looking at this all wrong. You are looking at this from the standpoint of the victim. If you really want to mock the democrats your questions should be more like:
"What have we done wrong as a society that lead to this grown man's actions? Has he been victimized in some way? What are the socio-economic forces at play in his life that allowed him to do this and how can we correct them? Perhaps it is really the fault of the jingoistic (favorite word of theirs) views of the republican party - maybe he is just rebelling against an overinflated sense of nationalism that has been unjustly created through a war based on lies.
Usually Republicans don't cry -- that's more a democrat thing to do -- but it's only because she was just a little three year old girl that she cried.
Really she's lucky --- she was next to the more moderate democrats who are fewer in number --- many would have punched her nose in for having that Bush/Cheney sign.
Be careful with this one. I'm gonna catch he## for this here, but I only want truth and honesty from our side.
I was trolling over at DU and on their front page they have a lengthy and, to be honest, pretty convincing expose of this incident. Basically, it looks like a setup by the little girl's dad, a low-level political hack. If they are right, this guy ought to be banished from any political activity outside a voting booth.
It's too bad the DUers don't put this kind of effort into uderstanding economics, or terrorism, or education, or...
