Each of the Conservatives Hosts has their own strong points.

I agree that Michael Medved is superbly intelligent. I have a hard time listening to him though.

I have no patience left for liberal drivel. When they are spewing venom I want to drown them in the kitchen sink. I am rational enough to know that I'd risk electrocuting myself and ruining a perfectly good radio.

I appreciate that He gives them enough rope to hang themselves with and then does it.

Rush is funny , he is very shrewd and he sticks with a topic until it is over. He doesn't really do a new theme each hour.

I sometimes think some of the other shows leave things abruptly and unfinished just because the hour is over.

I appreciate Hugh being unabashedly Christian and not embarrassed by it. He cuts libs to much slack. That one liberal law professor he has on weekly needs to be run out of any educational institution on a rail.

I don't get to listen to any of the early birds, I work too late at night to get up early.

Here's how I rate them:

1. Hugh Hewitt: Very sharp and doesn't let deceptive liberals get away with anything.

Tied for 2. Rush, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Larry Elder, Roger Hedgecock: All of them are otstanding.

Tied for 3. Dennis Prager, Dr. Walter Williams.

Michael Medved does an excellent show, but like you I have a hard time listening to him. He has this way of talking down to the audience, as though he is much more intelligent and educated than the audience. Sometimes he sounds like he's teaching a class of fifth graders. This is the same thing that I find so annoying about Al Gore--he talks down to his audience. Even the liberal press got tired of Gore talking down to them.

I have to say though that it was Rush that got me interested in politics. I started listening to him in 1996 during lunch hour in Atlanta. I sent him an email once in '97 and he talked about it on the air. Until I started listening to Rush I didn't know anything about how awful the Clintons are. It took a lot of courage to be the lone broadcasting voice against the Clintons back in the mid-90's and Rush deserves a great deal of credit for that.

I forgot to mention Dennis Praeger. I think he does a fine job. He is certainly conservative but his show isn't so much about politics as about philosophy and morality.

I enjoy listening to him but I only get to listen to rebroadcasts on the weekend.
