Jane Fonda: Bush is a 'Radical Ideologue'

"Hanoi Jane" Fonda attacked George Bush this week as a "radical ideologue," while calling her old anti-war protest partner John Kerry a voice of "moderation."

In New York City this week as part of her "Vagina's Vote" campaign to register women to vote, she and other feminist stars headlined a rally at Harlem's Apollo Theater Monday night.

According to London's Guardian newspaper, when a reporter asked Fonda about the photo of her and Kerry together at a 1970 Vietnam War protest, she reacted by drawing a parallel between that war and the war in Iraq.

Saying Bush's decision to go to war was based on "a lie," Fonda complained, "I agree with the military experts who say it's a quagmire."

The America-bashing actress then urged voters to back Kerry over Bush, saying, "I don't think there's ever been such a clear choice between radicalism and moderation. I mean, we are dealing with a radical ideologue here."

This is great news! Woo Hoo. I couldn't be happier she is out there to campaign. This is the best advertising Bush could ever hope for. The SWIFTies have shown what Kerry was really doing in the 70s in Paris, and the last thing he wants is this empty headed traitor reminding the undecided voters of that! The Kerry camp must be desperate to shut her up.

I'm putting together a new group "Angina Votes" for those of us with chest pains. We will be canvassing ERs and ICUs for unregistered voters.

One thing I have noticed about people with huge character flaws: they tend to project their own flaws and devious nature onto other people. They often attribute their own character flaws to people they dislike, whether deserved or not. I have been the object of that projection a few notable times in my life.

Those pictures really are sick, aren't they? She looks like a schoolgirl meeting the movie star she has a crush on.

I wonder if she still prays for communism. She advocates a classless society while she goes and marries one of the world's richest men. If she were a true communist she would want the weathy peoples heads on stakes. Fonda lives in a play world.

I can think of a four letter word that starts with C and ends with T, but my wife would kill me if I used it.

No, and I have a feeling I might not want to. . . But, what the hell.

Don't women find that offensive...?

O'Reilly sent a crew of lackeys down to the conference to ask if Fonda would like to appear on BO. She declined with some
words, and I think Steinem was also getting in to the act.

What I found bizarre was that they were wearing "Vagina's Vote" t-shirts.

I guess once an unrepentant liberal, always an adolescent.

Being called a radical by Jane Fonda is like being called a liar by Bill Clinton.

I think she ought to speak out more and more. We just need to show the picture of Hanoi Jane with Hanoi John every time she does it!
