Kerry's latest accusation of the president further demonstrates that he has not changed since 1970

John Kerry’s latest tactic of accusing a sitting President of hiding plans to increase the strength of our military presence in Iraq is simply another illustration of the pacifist tactic of bringing about a military defeat by inciting fear in the American people to weaken their resolve to commit the resources needed for victory. He did it in Vietnam and he is doing it in Iraq.

There is substantial evidence that Kerry’s testimony before the Senate encouraged the North Vietnamese in their strategy to win the war by attrition, and their belief that the American public would not have the stomach to endure the commitment of military personnel needed for victory. Kerry acted as the communist’s chief spokesman in the Senate, almost single handedly persuading the American people that peace at any cost, even surrender, was better than paying the price of victory.

His latest accusation shows that his philosophy of “peace through defeat” has not changed. It is as equally true in Iraq as Vietnam that his words will hearten the enemy as they see a divided nation tremble at the thought of actually paying the price necessary for lasting peace, and contemplate surrender instead.

In the same way, numerous POW’s have testified that Kerry’s Senate testimony further endangered the troops already in the field. And once again, his words today will bring forth a new vigor in the terrorists as they see the same spirit of fear sweep across our nation.

If there is an intensifying in the terrorist’s attacks between now and the election, it will be in direct proportion to the degree that they see us weaken in our resolve. Mr. Kerry is doing everything in his power to insure that this takes place, and with the blood of defeat, to purchase the presidency.

Kerry once again has provided aid, and comfort to the enemy, and the blood of our sons is on his hands.

Good post and adequate description of Kerry. We have a few freepers who remind me of Kerry. Maybe they work for his campaign :-)

He's in a time warp. His heady days as a commie activist have long since been left in the dust. he is desperately trying to revive those old feelings. You know, feeling like a MAN. He is a pathetic shell of a man. Living off women and in a dead end job.

Too bad he can't be tried for his treason. He should swing.

I was reminded of his 71 testimony during his speech to the Guard....This time there is the "New Media" to help defeat the defeatist.

I hope this time, when the soldiers come home from Iraq, they identify Democrats and spit on them! That new ad is a hard slap in the face to every soldier that is over there, giving it their all and accomplishing great things!

When you hire someone you want to see his work resume, not just his claims of what a wonderful job he can do for you. John Kerry is full of wild accusations each day because he has no real record to run on. If he can't lead in the Senate how can he lead the United States?

To put it bluntly, John Kerry is a lazy bastard with no record of leadership or accomplishment in his 20 years in the Senate. Where does this snotty punk get off accusing president Bush, who is man of action? A man who has lead America.

It should be no secret that a new rotation is due sometime after the election. This has been planned for some time.
It that the BIG secret?
The Army Times and other papers have mentioned it.

I wonder why people always talk about this as if it is something that will happen in the future and isn't already happening. The enemy knows full well of the 'rats attempts to divide, undermine, and weaken our commitment to see this thing through to the end. How many of our thousand dead can be laid directly at Kerry's door? No way to tell, but I will say this: If the rats had been loyal opposition this thing would be over by now. I will never forget this and I hope that they will get the wages of their treachery in the end.

They hope another Clinton is coming. They know, like Uday Hussein reflected, that "This Boooosh is different."

Watch a lot of this opposition go away when we send George Double-You Bush back to Washington for FOUR MORE YEARS!

They hope another Clinton is coming. They know, like Uday Hussein reflected, that "Boooosh is different."

It may be a dead-end job, but it's the most exclusive club in the world.

No, and, in fact, the Pentagon said this call up will be smaller than the last two.

Kerry's still nailing down his base, thus his need to put a sinister spin on this call-up.

Kerry is flailing.

It's a joke. Kerry's stuck in Vietnam, and that's what Nixon was doing in Cambodia.

Well .. all joking aside - I didn't take it as a JOKE .. that's a pretty volatile statement to be making during this election season. If I could suggest, next time make the statement more clear or at least add a [sarcasm] tag at the end of our statement.

Just a thought!
