By now, Dan Rather's gotta be as frustrated as a June bug in a barrel of pinto beans.

The furor over the Bush military records story could damage Rather's credibility in the twilight of his professional career, Fouhy says. "It would be regrettable if that happens."I don't think these maroon's realize it yet, but that bus left the station last week, and it's still cruising.

Rather only confirmed what we've known for years, and CBS is complicit.

This story still didn't say "Dan Rather's documents were forged!"
All the wiggle room to protect the MSM.

But Auletta adds that the anchor's past behavior has deepened the controversy. "If this had happened to Jennings or Brokaw, would it have gotten the same play? I suspect not." I love this passive "happened to." Nobody else in the media was lining up to interview Ben Barnes, or run with these documents. Dan Rather pushed for this story, ran with it, and refused to allow any dissenting views on his broadcasts. He wasn't duped.

"There is no one more competitive than Dan," Roberts says. "In baseball terms, he would much prefer a home run to four singles. He was always pushing for that big break." Translation: Dan would prefer to go down swinging for the bleachers rather than settle for a base hit even if it meant his team might lose the game. Well, this time that very well might happen (though I don't it's going to).

I looked up the Fedex tracking number on Rather's career, and that package has been delivered. He's DOOMED.

Our government is run on fake documents. Most of reports are made up to slant to the special interest groups.
Congress members and their aides base their opinions and votes on these reports.
Congress is so easily lead to make these fake documents into law.
It's only been going on for fifty years.
Government is so intrusive now because of this.
Yet the people of FR are blowing their minds over a couple fake documents to bring down Bush.
While they're losing their freedoms.
I will give you one fact;
clean air act - there are eight scientists that sit on the EPA board.
Even though the reports were tilted on particle matters, their own scientists ruled that this is all made up.
Yet Carol Browner over ruled them and put in regulations that stiffens the rules on clean air.
Not one member of Congress voted for this.
This effects all trucks, cars, chemicals in America.
Not one word about this on FR, talk radio, but yet they are worried about a couple of forged documents.
