THIS IS WHY THEY HATE FOX NEWS CHANNEL.
Brit Hume had a bit on his "Special Report" last night about a new television ad from Moveon.org, the 527 group financed by that shadowy Hungarian-born international financier who, by the way, hates George Bush. The television ad shows a picture of an AK47 automatic rifle. The ad says "This ... can fire up to 300 rounds a minute. ... In the hands of a terrorist it could kill hundreds ... But on September 13th George Bush will [have] let the assault weapons ban expire." Hume then points out that this particular gun has been banned in the U.S. since the Firearms Act was passed in 1934. They are banned today. You can't own one without a special and very hard-to-get permit from the feds. So, Moveon.org lied. But that's not the news here. We already know that Moveon.org lies in their PAC ads. The news here is that you heard about this from Fox News Channel. You can bet your right to Social Security payments (might as well bet something of no real value) that you would never see The New York Times, the Boston Globe, CBS, NBC, ABC or CNN ever report this particular story. Fox News did, and that's why liberals hate Fox News so much. Just reporting that Moveon.org has an adverse relationship with the truth is proof of bias.
I think you're on to something. Truth is so fresh and unknown to so many leftists that they can only conclude it has to be conservative.
But then again, that's giving these liars way too much credit.
Nice job. Liberals and the MSM are allergic to the truth and are naturally repulsed by Fox News.
You are correct. That is why they do not like fox. It is not because fox is biased, but because they point out the truth.
They're not conservative. They're so "fair and balanced" it's hard to watch.
I wish that Fox would launch a 2nd network- one for News and one for Opinion.
It's the latter.
Actually, Factcheck.org reported the same thing!
This is a bit off the subject but has anyone noticed that each time the terrorist hit civilians and us in Iraq and the US/Coalition forces are allowed to retaliate...after a few days...something remarkable happens...NO MORE TERRORIST ATTACKS...
I think there's a message there...that the media doesn't want to push..
nick
Prior to Fox, there were "conservatives" on TV, but they were all cartoonish people designed to play villain so the liberal savior could come in and rescue the show.
CNN, for instance, would ask conservatives to be on their shows and talk about how much they love David Duke. Then 3 liberals could pounce on them and look like the good guy.
Fox didn't just put conservatives on the air. It put conservatives on the air who weren't foaming at the mouth attack dogs. Imagine if the ONLY left-wingers you saw on tv were James Carville and Michael Moore. That's what TV was like before Fox.
Wow!
Reporting the truth.
What a concept.
The Mean Street Media begs to assume that everyone already knows the truth, so there is no use in wasting valuable broadcasting time or print space pointing out how Moveon.Gag lies in their ads.
Fox News, on the other hand, sees no harm in reinforcing the truth for those that might not remember or may have forgot. It has nothing to do with bias (BarfBarf). The MSM is giving the public the benefit of the doubt, and Fox News operates under the assumption the public is basically ignorant.
And here in Chicago, "da mayor" Daley chimed in at a press conference something to the effect that legalizing AK-47s and Uzis will now put law enforcement at risk, blah, blah, blah....but I did not hear of one local person (in print or tv) point out this falsehood.
FOX does a VERY GOOD job at correcting the MANY lies stated by persons with a forum to be heard. Hats off to Britt....
Most likely the latter. Fox is conservative in the sense that almost every other news network slants left, some to extreme degrees. By comparison, it is "conservative".
Think about it: truth-telling is an archaic, out-dated means of communication! The revolution is HERE, man! Individualism dictates that we tell everyone ANYTHING, truth or not, as long as it suits OUR individual end goal!
What's the difference between moveon.org & a bowel movement?
They are both crap.
