Another thing to keep in mind is that A-Rod also himself said that his "language was a bit strong... stronger than it should have been" or something to that effect.

Botomm line is BOTH were instigating, and both are guilty. Period.

Regardless of the rivalries between our teams, this kinda crap is just stupid. I can admit that both players, mine and yours, were in the wrong. Can you?

Your response was weak. There is nothing Rodriguez could have said that warranted a sucker punch (with a catcher's mitt no less -how queer is that?). Bottom line, Veritek stays at the plate, this incident never happens. I am all for teamates defending their pitchers, but Rodriguez was clearly on his way to first.

Again, I hate baseball fights. My point is that the idea that Veritek is some sort of tough guy beacuse of this incident is laughable. Nothing could be further from the truth.
