Gad--haven't seen THIS ad. I thought he'd be talking about the Fortunate Son ad.

I saw that on Drudge too, pretty low, but what else is new about the rats! They never cease to amaze us with how much lower they can go!

Thank you, Bob Dole, for that stirring rebuke. Drudge's link to Dole's words is still at this moment being shown in red.

"This defeatist attitude undermines the great progress and sacrifices of our men and women in the military and the contributions of our allies who are fighting against terror and standing up for freedom around the world.

"The politics of pessimism that is being pursued by John Kerry and the extreme liberals demonstrates they are consumed by the past with nothing to offer but attacks on the President's agenda for creating a safer world.

"John, say it isn’t so and denounce this latest effort to divide Americans”

Bob Dole did a great job here.

"I cannot believe that John Kerry, who reminds us daily of his Vietnam service, would possibly approve the disgusting and demoralizing portrayal of American soldiers fighting for us in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world."

That is the problem.
Guys like Dole, Sean and O'Reilly giving credit to Kerry for being for America, which he is not.
He is, as Ollie North, stated, an anti-American candidate.

I've always liked Sen Dole...his wife is our Senator and a GREAT one too!!..
I am STILL WONDERING where MCCAINs mouth is, on the TANG memogate and now this.....he was so quick to be out there for Kerry... hes not one of my fav republicans after the way he has stabbed President Bush in the back so many times during this first term... he was good at the convention, but thats about the only thing I can say for him lately..

This point by Dole is a very good point and something I say over and over to people where I live in Canada.

The American military and its coalition (which BTW does include Canadian soldiers who are on scheduled assignments with American forces that our Canadian Government refuses to publically acknowledge - eg. my neighbour returned from CENTCOM in late August) are doing a great job in a very tough situation.

Nobody said it would be easy. But if the American politians have resolve, they may bring peace to an area that has been unstable for many years.

Isn't this disgusting that anyone who would want to be President of the United States would not only give aid and comfort to the Viet Cong, but to the Muslim Islamic Extremists as well? This ad is sickening. John Kerry is a traitor.

Play it. Play it far and play it wide. Make sure MoveOn is prominently displayed as a Democrat organization.

"John Kerry has raised doubts about our troops' ability to maintain security as well as Iraqi's ability to decide their own future through elections."

Once again Kerry's true colors are showing. (TRAITOR)

There is now an unspoken coordination going on by Kerry and his people with increased enemy activity in Iraq.

By asserting there is a "quagmire," they are banging the drums to WELCOME AND ENCOURAGE more enemy attacks in Iraq - and more American and allied casualties.

This is the fomenting of murder; and it is manifestly treasonous.

I haven't been able to see the ad, but from the pictures on Drudge, it looks like this is not necessarily a "defeated soldier"--they're not normally allowed to keep their weapons. Kind of looks like what you would see if a soldier was crossing a river, keeping his weapon dry.

I cannot believe that John Kerry, who reminds us daily of his Vietnam service, would possibly approve the disgusting and demoralizing portrayal of American soldiers fighting for us in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world.

Why wouldn't he, it has worked for him for the past 34 years.

Note to John, we ain't in Massachusetts anymore!
