"The Kentucky Education Association Web site says that in one scenario, an employee who has paid $10 for lab services costing $300 will have to pay $60 for the same services next year and would see deductibles for an office visit that cost $100 double from $10 to 20percent of the cost, or $20."

I understand the concern of rising health care costs, but remember this is a benefit from the state employer. I'm sure the KEA cries about those "43 million" uninsured as well. The fact remains that paying $60 on a $300 lab bill costs someone somewhere...nothing is for free, unless it's Kerry's socialist utopia.

Regardless, the wrong person is being attacked.

In addition, the KEA is probably one of the most disrespected lobbying organizations in the capital and the childish behavior of shouting down the governor when he is trying to have dialog with you isn't going to help matters.
