Imagine Hanoi John having to eat such plebian foods as chili instead of foie gras.

LOL! How the general public could EVER think Kerry represents the common man is beyond me. It is very clear the he and his wife see themselves as superior beings.
I really makes me ill to think Hanoi John and Jane are given air time in America.

Typical fighter pilot type-A personality. . .fun luving and aggressive. Warrior material. He would not be the first (nor the last) fighter pilot that thrived on life and offended the sensibilities of an occasional law. See "The Great Santini" for a pretty-much accurate--albeit a little over-blown--depiction of fighter pilots and the warrior ethos. I can see W as fitting into that crowd. I can't even imagine Kerry in the same room. You know, thinking about it, recall the scene in the movie where where Santini (W) and his men crash an o'club party and act. . .well. . .as fighter pilots do on occasion. . .and also recall the Navy brass (Kerry) sneering reaction.. .hmmm. . ..
Warriors win wars.

Yeah. . .people always mistake me for Tom Cruise. . .(not).
Oh, was in Minnesota a few weeks back (St James, Hector). Was doing family history research. Nice place.

I do family research too! That is one of the big advantages of being back here for a while. I am close to all the old farms and settlements of my ancestors. :) Genealogy is a lot of fun, even though I had much more fun doing my cousin's than my own. She is a direct descendant of William Brewster. I remember reading about them in school, so it was really fun to follow.
Have you seen all the information that is available at the Genealogy Library in St Paul? TONS of info!
