There are soda machines, etc. You're welcome to bring other refreshments if you like.

Hmmmmm. They didn't tell us it would be no smoking...."

Is this a for sure lead, to this Tex LIEberal county where the supposed Kinkos link was found out? Who is reporting the tie in to these LIEberals?

We need a Flow Chart...

David Van Os advertises on the Taylor County Democrat Party Website and on his web site, Bill Burkett says this:

Letter from Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Bill Burkett Former Client of David Van Os I have a 30 plus year experience of working within and around litigators in one fashion or another. I would guess that I have worked with over 100 attorneys and on and with about 40 cases; a small number if you're a lawyer, but a rather large exposure if you are a citizen.

When I needed an attorney for a case of pure retaliatory abuse that denied me medical care that I had both earned and paid for, I studied the resumes and reputations of attorneys throughout Texas. David Van Os had and has the highest rating and reputation for ethics of any attorney in Texas. And after dealing with him, I would certainly confirm that he has been the most principled and honest man in the legal profession that I have ever dealt with; and my experience has been that lawyers are notoriously dishonest and lack credibility.

Mr. Van Os has met every commitment within my case, which worked itself through the State court system and ended up at the US Supreme Court.

But he was also realistic, honest and fair concerning the law and what it means and also what it does not mean. He stood by the law and the intent of the law throughout our case.

Yes, David will be a People's Judge. I think that's good. On the Texas Supreme Court, I wouldn't believe that the corporations would be too disappointed that the People of Texas would be represented by one of nine seats.

And how would just one judge make any difference?

There is no one in the entire field of law that I would select to represent me over David Van Os. Therefore, I have faith that he can be more influential in returning the beginning of balance and equity to this important court. Certainly, by the responses given by Mr. Brister to the Senate confirmation committee, his responses will be far more honest, dignified and legally correct than what Mr. Brister told that committee.

Bill Burkett

This is more that what ties Karl Rove to the swittees...

Abilene is in Taylor County which is about 250 miles north of Travis County. Interesting, FR had Burkett pegged as a dimwit wacko at least a year ago. I'd thought of Burkett a few days ago, but had hoped that Texas wouldn't be dragged through the mud on this. Oh well, it never fails Texas somehow always ends up most messes.

Actually it was Robert Strong - a former TexANG admin - that told the WaPo that he saw the Kinko's fax header on the docs CBS showed him....he vouched not for the authenticity of the docs themselves but rather that the "content" was consistent with the "way [TexAng] did business" He was also on 60 minutes on 8 Sept.

Abilene is full of cattle and oil money. They would know the right hands to grease and have the grease to get things done.

I'm not sure this is good news; while this would be hard evidence for the DUers it is still coincidental in nature. Furthermore it indicates that the Kinko's is Dim friendly and likely to obstruct any investigation there.

I don't suppose Tuna TX has it's own Kinkos now. How far from Abilene is it.

You are assuming that Abilene & Taylor county are mostly Liberal just because Burkett lives 20 mi
away(different county), and just because there's a Dem women's group here.

Not true. I know...I live here! We are pro-military, pro-family and pro-Bush. You should not confuse us with Travis county - home of Robin Rather & too many kooks to count.

maybe it was only a reference to strong, then, that came out of the mouth of one of the examiners on H & C on Wed nite........either way or both ways, CBS made sure that all the videos of the "docs" showed only versions with their own fax number showing.
