Unfortunately, if something does not change, our political system is on its way to breaking, because the radical right wing that has hijacked the Republican Party is not content with merely being a political party. That radical right wing is not content to govern; it hungers to rule. Its decisions are so completely based on the pursuit of raw power that its actions no longer resemble the platform of the once-respectable Republican Party of days gone by.
