If CBS did rely on false documents, it would be a major blow for Rather, 70, nearing the end of his career after nearly a quarter-century as the network's top anchor. Coupled with the distant third-place ranking of the "CBS Evening News," there's some speculation it could hasten his departure.
That is strong language coming from ABC News, a competitor with CBS News. I rather guess (so to speak) that it is about up for Mr. Rather.

Credibility? What credibility? For informed voters, this scandal doesn't change their opinions of Dan Rather and CBS: it CONFIRMS it!

Imagine if each of us gave $10 or so, and hired some good attorney's - like the PowerLine guys - to go after CBS?
The LEFT does this all the time, and being one that normally doesn't view tort as a way to accomplish things, it could be fun!
Kind of like when we all went to DC to Impeach Clinton.
You're absolutely positively a genius. That cover, especially, is destined for greatness!
