Fellow FReep posters: Please treat everyone like they have no idea what you're talking about unless you provide details. We've had a rash of threads today posted with little or no information except, "Did you see that?" or "What's Savage's thing with Bill O'Reilly's thing?" I'd provide the Bunny With Pancake artistic statement to go along with this thread, but it's been used too many times over the last week...

Good point. I think some of that comes from newer FREEPERs who are trying to get involved.
I'm more riled up about the out of control excerpting. I realize we have the content issues to keep track of, but there are more articles that are excerpted but not on the excerpt list, than there are those on the list.
My advise to newbies:
- Lurk for awhile
- Post first inside the threads, so you can learn the lingo and the general norms
- Cancel all subscriptions to any and all magazines or other websites
- Donate! Monthly donation preferred
Just some advice.
