about Bush on the campaign trail, reported that his crowds were "noisy", full stop. Noisy is not a good adjective like Enthusiastic, Cheering, Loudly Supportive, Fired Up, etc. The Network Media bias is so long running that sometimes you don't catch the comtempt. Footballs fans are called loud, cheering, Kerry Crowds are most often called enthusiastic. Bush Loving, Right Wing Idiots who aren't smart enough to be liberal or liberal enough to be smart and vote for Kerry - We're NOISY. Like children being bad in class or talking in the library. Well, Ann Compton, this is the way to let those Terrorists who did the slaughter on 9/11 hear from us once again. Noisy and clear on November 2nd when Bush wins and continues the good fight to protect you right to condescend on Bush and his noisy patriots with impugnity.

FRIGGN RIGHT we are noisy. Unlike Kerry voters, we BELIEVE in somthing and are voting FOR someone. :)

I think what she hears is a "we've got you back" kind of noise.

If I were you, I'd start posting these vanity comments which don't deserve a thread on an existing thread.
Can you imagine how many servers Jim would have to buy if every poster here put up a thread on every single thing they heard on the radio?

Oh, I don't know. I'd give Ann a pass on this one. To me, noisy isn't really derogatory in this case. You're talking about a political rally, where we want the crowds to be fired up. Sounds like they really are!

I don't understand why these "comments" can't be added to other threads.

I watched two "rallies" yesterday by W. and Carey. Bush's crowd were screaming and cheering, careys crowd looked asleep. It says a lot.

Yeah, I just heard that and let it slip by. I figured she meant he had a crowd of several thousand.

During a sporting even when they want the fans to get loud and show their support hte jumbotron reads "let's make some noise". NBD, people shouldn't look for excuses to get offended.

ABCDisney News' Petah Jennings said that "America threw a temper tantrum" when we elected a Republican majority in congress in 1994.
We'll take the victories and "move on" from such statements from the buggy whip media.

This is the same ANN COMPTON who was on AIR FORCE ONE with the president on 9-11-2001. She appears in a PBS documentary of various interviews and activities which happened that day. I caught part of it a couple of days ago in the mid-afternoon PDT. I want to see all of it.
This "journalist" was up close and personal as anyone on that day with Pres Bush, and she still cannot see the solid goodness in him? What a Kool-Aid drinker.

My guess is that the newbies don't lurk long enough to glean what the protocol is here. They just jump right in with whatever pops into their minds. I think a lot of them got their training in chat rooms, not forums.
Waiting and watching. Lot's of fresh meat here this week.
