The only problem I have with the situation in Iraq is that it appears that the military is on hold until our elections are over. That is a bad move. We have the "insurgents" clustered in about 3 cities. We need to actually "re declare war" and wipe them out once and for all. It may mean a general uprising OR it could just as well be met with the rest of the country breathing a sigh of relief. I think a lot of our problem is that the Iraqis are now wondering if we are as tough as they thought we were. I don't think GW can keep this bottled up for another month.
I agree with that en toto. The dogs of war are penned up. Bush making a big mistake there. The object is to kill islamofascist pigs and there are plenty of targets. Let slip the dogs.
