Sir:
Because of your continuing support of Dan Rather and CBS news, I am writing to inform you I am cancelling my American Express account, cutting my gold card in half, and will attempt to dissuade anyone I know from obtaining a card from you in the future. This comes in response to CBS's presentation of forged documents in an attempt to influence the outcome of an election due to Rather's obvious agenda and their subsequent refusal to retract the story. Even CBS's pathetic attempt to respin some credibility on the story does not bother you. This is serious business. Fraud, if you will; something that should bother a credit card company.
You continue to advertise with them. I will continue to make you a product I do not use.

That's rich! LOL
I did the same thing in 1991 when American Express supported Clinton.
They called and asked what the problem was. I advised them that the next four years were going to be very expensive, and that I simply could not afford their card any longer.
I never found a need to get Amex again.
Very good.
Excellent!

I'm suspicious. I wonder how much CBS may have paid Mrs. Knox to do Wednesday's interview. Her gossipy story seems to fit CBS's new focus, which is proving how "accurate" the documents are rather than if they are authentic.
However, only last week Mrs. Knox said she didn't pay much attention to Bush...now she has a definative impression that Bush's attitude reflected arrogance and that he refused Killian's order to take a flight physical. This just happens to coincide with the latest DNC attack ad that includes the song with the lyrics, ..."it aint me, it ain't me, I'm no Senator's son!"... It's another classic case of class warfare, which is a typical strategy of shallow minded liberals. That way they can shore up their main base, the gulible, the ignorant, and the poor.
That's powerful.
Good job!!!! I love it when I see people take action rather than bitch and moan and do nothing about it.
excellent letter and most articulate. wow, some can still write well! : )
