Ms Knox isn't just a grandmotherly former secretary whom Dan Rather happened to come across the last few days when this fiasco started.
Ms Knox apparently was involved in a meeting with Burkett and Barnes' attorney weeks ago--before the documents surfaced. She may be much more involved in this fraud than we know, yet.

I see. Yes, she seemed like a very prepared witness in a trial. Just too overt, too eager, as was Rather. But of course the nuances fly right over the Kool-Aid crowd's collective heads.
