I was a slammer at City Gardens (aka Seedy Gardens) in Tren'on New Joisey back in the 80's. Saw many good bands there. Even saw Iggy Pop in the early 90's when he was trying a comeback and was actually polite. The time before that when he played there he got arrested for exposing himself on stage.
Saw The Cramps there, too, and many, many others. But I NEVER saw Sinbad O'Connor there, thankfully (though millions claim they did).
The Ramones were one of the best blasts. Sad to see these bands breaking apart. And too bad the current generation of alternative music has let their forebears down so badly. No where to dance anymore, especially in Seattle.

Slightly off-topic. The Cramps are back in DIY (Do it yourself) mode and running their own record company, having been dissatisfied with what "labels" have done for them. They have issued all of the albums they own (everything except the IRS albums) on CD and vinyl.
This next week is supposed to see the release of a 2 disc set of vintage rarities from the Cramps.

(What's the provenance, Kenneth? Where did the forged SeeBS memo come from?)
