Here's a theory (which I don't necessarily back up)...
Terry McCaulif is loyal to the Clintons and he set it up because he wants Kerry to lose so that Hillary will be well positioned for a 2008 run.
I subscribe to that theory, or one with a similar outcome....the 2008 opening for Hitlery.
