Well, I thought of the original "Batman" series, and they referred to The Joker as the "Clown prince of Crime" - I just made the connection...
We just got the DVD of the original "Batman" movie, with Adam West and Burt Ward doing the MST3K voiceover - the outtakes, the whole thing! What weirdness/fun they had on the set!
Robin almost going up in flames when he walked behind the Batmobile...
Having to do forty takes because the Batcycle wasn't working just right - kept launching Burt Ward off the set...
Batman kept getting runs in his tights...
All sorts of guffaws!
